How much do Show Off Cards cost?
A set of 1000 Show Off Cards plus your own personal Show Off Web Page is only $599 - shipping and handling included.

If I get less than 1000 cards, is the price less?

Good question. You might think that if 1000 cards costs X, that 500 cards should cost 1/2 of X, but unfortunately that's not the case. The development process accounts for the bulk of time and expense in a set of ShowOffCards. The cost of actually printing the cards is a relatively small part of the overall price so getting 500, 250 or only 100 cards doesn't affect the cost by even $50. So there is no reduction in cost if you request less cards.

Dang! That's expensive. Got anything a little more "value priced"?

As a matter of fact we do. Show Off Cards Lite. They offer a highly personalized card with 1/3 less "attitude" than our Original Show OffCards and at about half the price.

How long does it take to receive my cards?
The delivery lead time depends on revisions requested during the proofing process but it should be in the range of 6 weeks. This 6 week guesstimate assumes that you respond to our approval request emails promptly (same or next day). We do not work fast. Period.  If you are on a deadline - don't use us. You must be patient Grasshopper...

Bear in mind that we are developing custom artwork and this requires numerous reviews and proofs to ensure that A) you are happy with the product and B) there are no errors prior to printing. The process cannot be rushed.

How much are reorders?

Assuming only text changes (no artwork changes)

I already have a website. Is there any discount if I elect not to get the Show Off web page?

Some clients who already have a website do opt not to use the Show Off web page. Unfortunately, nearly all the work and expense is in the artwork development and printing of the cards. The Show Off web page, while very useful for showing people your "fun" side and boosting your search engine page rank is sort of a "bonus" that we throw in.

That's the long way of saying that opting out of the Show Off web page doesn't save you any money - sorry.

Is there a discount if I order more than one set of cards?

Unfortunately, because each ShowOffCard is FULLY customized by overall concept, artwork, photo and text, there are no economies of scale. There is the same amount of work in the first card design as in the ninth. So, no, there is no volume discount.
 

Can I just purchase the artwork?

Yes, we will sell just an art file, but as noted above most of the work goes into concept development and artwork revisions so you won't save much money by electing not to get the cards. Artwork only is $499. Keep in mind that our artwork is designed for 2"x3.5" printing so it is not suitable for large format printing.

How does the price of Show Off Cards compare to the price of traditional business cards?
We are more expensive. Period. But you need to stop thinking of ShowOffCards as regular old business cards. They're advertising and marketing tools. Just think about how much you spend on yellow page ads? How about print ads?

Reallocate some of those marketing dollars to ShowOffCards and see which creates the most buzz about you and your business.

Why should I use Show Off Cards?
For the attention. Period. Your Show Off Card will start conversations, get a laugh, get passed around, create "buzz" and make you unforgettable. Didn't you read the client comments on the home page? (Sheesh, pay attention would ya.)

Will My Show Off Card superhero image be Unique?
Absolutely. At Show Off Cards we create a fully customized super hero image based on your specifications. You can decide what pose to use, props, backgrounds, clothing and more. Our artists, who are professional comic book illustrators, will then create a one of a kind piece of artwork. Everything about your Show Off superhero card is unique.

I am not very creative, can you create the "fun stuff" for my card?
We would love to. As you complete the online sign up form you can provide some personal information which we then use to
create a concept for your character which may include a nickname, some factoids, image concepts etc. We will take as much or as little creative direction from you as you choose to provide. And have no fear, you will have ample opportunity to proof and edit our "creation" before we go to press.

Do you make Show Off Cards in "landscape" orientation instead of "portrait"?

No. Our artwork tends to work best in portrait orientation as does the informational bullets on the back of the card.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Yes. We ship anywhere UPS delivers and freight costs are adjusted accordingly.
